Gimli's Waterfront Centre
The Waterfront Centre, sponsored by the Betel Heritage Foundation, is a beautiful and unique housing complex for seniors (55+). It is conveniently located in the heart of Gimli and is close walking distance to all town amenities.
The Centre was designed to promote and preserve the rich heritage of the Icelandic culture.
It is home to the New Iceland Heritage Museum and Lady of the Lake Theatre, Cultural Offices and the Johnson Hall which is located on the 5th floor with magnificent views overlooking Lake Winnipeg and the town area.
Notice – March 17, 2019
The Waterfront Centre, including the New Iceland Heritage Museum, commercial offices and Johnson Hall will be closed to the General Public due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) until further notice. The need for the closures will continue to be re-assessed as the situation evolves.
Residents are still accepting deliveries and other vital services.
